Plastering
Skimming, re-plastering, ceilings and removing old artex
Plastering is the trade Mark and Chris grew up in, and it's still the heart of what Eagle does. Whether it's one tired ceiling, a room that needs re-skimming after other work, or a whole property, the aim is the same: a flat, smooth, ready-to-decorate finish with no ripples, hollows or trowel lines.
A lot of the work is bringing older homes up to date — removing dated artex from ceilings, plastering over it and making good so the surface reads clean and modern. Getting the preparation right underneath is what makes the finish last, so that's where the care goes first.
Skimming and re-plastering
Skim coats over existing surfaces, full re-plastering of walls and ceilings, patching and making good after building work — a clean, flat finish ready for paint or paper.
Removing artex and making good
Dated, textured artex ceilings are one of the most common jobs we take on — removed or plastered over and skimmed smooth so a room instantly feels lighter and more current.
